About this project
Tecate Cangrejos is a spot of up to 40 seconds in which Magic Hammer was responsible for crafting the opening 3 seconds of the commercial. During this segment, our team had the opportunity to build a full 3D bucket alongside multiple crab models, carefully posed across different moments and environments to create a dynamic and visually rich scene.
Beyond the modeling and composition, we developed the transition that seamlessly bridges the 3D rendered world with the live-action footage, ensuring a fluid and natural connection between both styles. To top it off, the renders were given a painterly aesthetic, making them feel as if they had been hand-painted adding a unique artistic touch that set the tone for the rest of the spot.
